NALHFA’s Washington Briefing Breakfast offers attendees an exclusive opportunity to hear directly from federal policymakers and congressional leaders at the forefront of shaping the nation’s affordable housing agenda. This timely session will feature remarks and insights from members of Congress and other key decision makers on legislative proposals, regulatory modernization efforts and federal housing initiatives that will influence the future of affordable housing finance. Participants will gain a deeper understanding of the evolving political and policy landscape in Washington, D.C. including emerging priorities related to housing supply, affordability and federal housing resources. The program will also explore opportunities, challenges and advocacy considerations facing local HFAs, providing attendees with valuable intelligence to inform their work and engagement with federal partners.

In addition, the session will conclude with the latest NAHB outlook for the housing sector, including forecasts for single-family and multifamily production, as well as key risks and opportunities facing the industry moving forward.
